Iris Study Class: Little Flower School x Dealtry

I'm so excited to announce a very special class I will be teaching with two ladies I admire so much-- Sarah and Nicolette from Little Flower School!
For all the details including location, pricing and how to sign up please head over to the Little Flower School website here
Here's an excerpt from their website to give you an idea of the day!
'This day-long intensive will feature two studies of the iris, explored through watercolor and arranging-- two art forms that are deeply connected through their shared aesthetic values. Participants will relate and transfer principles of design between the two disciplines, focusing on: color theory, shape and composition. Class will begin with noted textile designer/ painter Helen Dealtry leading students through a morning session interpreting iris specimens with watercolors. Students will observe and render Schreiner's dizzying spread; Helen will elaborate on her painting techniques and process for textile design. Lunch will  be catered and staged along the iris fields. In the afternoon, students will build upon their gained floral sensitivities and compose their own arrangement. Sarah and Nicolette will showcase Schreiner's hypnotic collection of iris, along with product from our favorite surrounding farms. Through demonstration, discussion and the creation of their own masterpiece students will gain a greater understanding of the relationships between color, texture and form-- how best to honor each stem's unique constitution.  Floral arrangements will be photographed with intention to strengthen student's portfolio. This is an all-levels class: no previous floral/painting experience is required.'
It is sure to be a one of a kind experience, I hope we will all meet you there!
xx, Helen
